The Ancient Kherwals are the prior inhabitants of Bharat (Hende-than)from Aryan & dravidians. In modern India they have been defined as 'Social Educational' backwards class in the sate of Bihar, Orissa & West-Bengal after ignoring their demand for separate Jharkhand state. They R having their own socio-religious believes with rich traditional modern literature & cultural heritage. Their present Identity is " CNT & SPT (Suplementary) Act 1908 & 1949
